2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ Headliner Replacement

So, like many Cherokee owners, my headliner was sagging.  I watched several videos on youtube showing folks replacing their own headliners, but none of them seemed to completely cover the process.  It didn’t look too difficult, so I thought I’d take a stab at it, and post my own video of the process.

While my video may not be “pro” quality, I did receive some good feedback on how thorough it was. I’m going to try and add my video to this blog, along with some links to the products I used to get the job done.  This is a two part video, so don’t forget to watch both segments. I will also post the product links below the video.

Good luck, and let me know how you make out with your project!

To get some 3M Headliner adhesive, click the link below. It is important to use actual headliner adhesive if you want it to stay up. This is designed to withstand the heat your headliner is subjected to in a vehicle. I have used this product with great success. You will need at least 2 cans for a Jeep Cherokee headliner:

3M 38808 Headliner and Fabric Adhesive – 18.1 oz.

To purchase some camo headliner material for your Cherokee, click the link below:
